Sixty Vines is making it easy for guests to enjoy an authentic wine country experience in the comfort of their home with its Virtual Wine Tasting.

On Wednesday, Oct. 7, starting at 7 p.m., the wine-centric restaurant invites guests to uncork and unwined during its three-course food and wine pairing dinner guided by Sixty Vines Beverage Director, Gene Zimmerman. During this unique virtual experience, participants will be transported to vineyards around the world with these wine country-inspired pairings:
• Red Beet Hummus with Goat Cheese and Edamame Hummus with Feta, served with Crisped Flatbread and paired with Sabine Rosé and Château la Freynelle Sauvignon Blanc + Semillon.
• Selection of Artisan Cured Meats, Cheeses and Seasonal Accoutrement paired with Vine Huggers 50/50 Cabernet + Cabernet Franc.
• Margherita Pizza with Basil Pesto, Fresh Tomatoes, Mozzarella, Romano and Micro Basil paired with Upshot Red Blend Malbec + Merlot + Zinfandel.
With National Sustainability Month in October, guests can enjoy the evening while participating in a genuine effort toward sustainability. Each of these wines are on tap from the restaurant’s 60-tap wine system. Wine on tap is more sustainable, so it’s only fitting that Sixty Vines is celebrating Sustainability Month with a wine tasting that utilizes eco-friendly practices.
Sixty Vines’ Virtual Wine Tasting costs just $79 and includes all three food courses, four 187-milliliter bottles of wine and the virtual experience; one ticket easily serves two people! To participate, guests can order via Eventbrite for Plano or Uptown before Oct. 5. Then, guests can pick up their food and wine from their nearest Sixty Vines on Oct. 6 or Oct. 7.
