National Life Group hosts Do Good Fest®, a free outdoor concert at Levitt Pavilion Arlington to benefit Parkland Health’s Pediatric Behavioral Health Program in support of youth mental health on Saturday, Sept. 23 from 5 - 10:30 p.m.
The event features country music legend Mark Chesnutt with opener Jack Ingram and burgeoning country singer and songwriter Kaitlin Butts, along with award-winning Arlington-based El Mariachi Tejano De Sam Houston and other special guests.
Advance tickets are required. While the concert is free, a donation to Parkland Health’s Pediatric Behavioral Health Program in support of youth mental health is strongly suggested. Donations can be made through the ticket reservation process.
With 14 number one hits, 23 top 10 singles, four platinum albums, and five gold records, Chesnutt is a country music legend. He got his start in Beaumont, Texas and continues to tour broadly.
Named best new male vocalist by the Academy of Country Music in 2008 and inducted into the Texas Heritage Songwriters’ Association Hall of Fame recently, Ingram is a singer and songwriter who has put out eight albums.
Following up her debut “Same Hell, Different Devil” and a diverse run of singles, her second album, “What Else Can She Do,” has Butts delivering a collection of delicate, strong, and gallant characters and transformative storytellers.
This is the second annual Do Good Fest in Texas. Last year it raised over $70,000 in support of youth mental health. Reserve your tickets today!
